This past weekend we closed the show “Exit Laughing” at the Shawnee Little Theatre.  I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had working on this show.  The script was absolutely hilarious and the audience loved a night of non-stop laughter. I guess the show lived up to its name because everyone truly did exit laughing.

I thought you might enjoy the photos that end the show because they are too funny not to share.  Let me give a little explanation.  In the show, our friend Mary has passed away and has left us dozens of first class tickets to travel all over the world.  All she asked is that we take her with us.  So, that bright red urn…. that’s Mary.  It’s amazing what you can do with Photoshop.  lol  

It’s always bittersweet closing a show.  The cast and crew become your family over those 5 weeks.  It’s no fun saying good-bye but I know I will see them again and hopefully work with them in the future.

Now, it’s time to shift gears and get ready for Thanksgiving!
