Hello my friends! Happy Monday!  Are you ready to MAKE IT MONDAY?  Today’s card is so incredibly fast to make but look!  It’s a WOW card for sure!  The Glossy White cardstock is the key to that WOW factor.  Let me show you how to make the Life is Better with You In It card. 

I really do love the Petal Palette stamp set.  See the built-in shading on the roses?  It’s so pretty!  

I used sponge daubers to create that soft effect on the card.

A little bit of Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon and this card is ready to go.

We had a really nice and relaxing weekend!  Friday Mr. Awesome and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary and he came home with a dozen roses and dinner reservations.  He found this new restaurant we had never been and it was AMAZING!

Saturday we watched the royal wedding and did some work around the house.

Sunday after church was Ginny’s vocal recital and she was amazing.  She sang 2 songs and blew the roof off the place. Afterward, I took the girls shopping for some new clothes and that is always fun.

The BIG thing that I did was work on my stamp room.  As a demonstrator, we get to order some of the new products from upcoming catalog early. I have all the new colors of ink and cardstock so I pulled out all the ‘outgoing’ colors and brought in all the NEW colors.  I took it one step further and made pretty labels for my file folders. 

There’s just something about organized paper that makes me happy.

I also prepped and organized my Flash Card drawer.  It’s so organized and pretty now.  All my colors are in alphabetical order and grouped in color families.  

I cut (1) sheet of each color into regular Flash Cards and another sheet of Flash Card 2.0.  Now I have 8 of each ready to go.  I can’t tell you how many times I go to this drawer to pull out piece of cardstock. Whether it’s to create a Flash Card or because I need a piece of cardstock to punch from.

I can’t say it will look this pretty forever but for now, I am smiling because it’s all so organized.  🙂 

I heard from some of you over the weekend that the catalogs have started arriving in mailboxes!  YAY!!!  Amy sent me this email – “Thank you so much for the new catalog.  It’s going to be a glorious weekend what with the royal wedding and the new catalog!”
