Today’s Make It Monday couldn’t come at a better time. More than likely your Christmas cards are either done or the design has been created so now it’s time to think about WRAPPING. Check out this fabulous gift bag!
I prefer gift bags over wrapping mostly because I can never seem to find a box that is the right size for my gifts.
A fellow Stampin’ Up demonstrator, Loni, took a plain white gift bag and made it amazing! It really is beautiful and you can make it fit any size gift bag you might have.
Now it’s YOUR turn to create! Want to work off your mobile device? Just take it to your stamp space and work from here.
Would you rather save the document to your computer?

Can I make a recommendation? Create a file in your “Documents” on your computer and call it MAKE IT MONDAY so you can always find the downloads whenever you need them. Or, you can always search the Categories (left side bar) and click on Make It Monday. You will see all of them in one place.
Here’s what you’ll need to create the POINSETTIA GIFT BAG. Use what you have, order what you need. Just click a pic!
Okay…. Friday was an AMAZING day in the Stewart household. I mean AMAZING!!!!
You guys may remember that Ginny had the stomach flu all last week. It was horrible. Well, last week was also auditions for “The Sound of Music” at her high school and she was devastated that she was going to miss them.
It’s a 4-day process — Day 1 – song and monologue and she was there for that. Then Day 2, Dance auditions, that’s when the flu hit and then Day 3 and 4 are callbacks. She was SO upset that she couldn’t go. Well, she gathered up the strength to go to her last hour so she could at least do the callbacks on Wednesday and Thursday. I felt so bad for her trying to put on her happy face all the while feeling like death. She’s such a trooper.
Well, it paid off! Are you ready for this? Ginny Stewart got the lead role of Maria!!!!! She found out on Friday afternoon that she got the part. This is HUGE for her. She’s only a Sophomore and typically the leads always go to a Senior. I guess Ginny just knocked their socks off. YAY GINNY! This is one PROUD MOM right now!
Ginny absolutely worships Julie Andrews and she is so excited to play this part. Not only are the hills alive with the sound of music but the Stewart house is too!! Do-Re-Me has been playing non-stop since Friday. lol

CONGRATULATIONS GINNY!!!!! The Sound of Music is one of my most loved movies! Connie, I know you are so proud of Ginny! Hoot your horn!!! I just love your poinsettia gift bag! You always come up with cutest ideas!!!
I am so happy for your daughter having gotten the role of Maria. I worship Julie Andrews too. My dad introduced me to the Sound of Music when I was just 5 and let me tell you that music has been ringing in our homes forever. I hope you show a recording when she hits the high note at the end of DoReMi.
