Hello hello hello! I am so glad you could join me today for a Make It Monday tutorial because today’s project is a very pretty one and the timing is perfect. It’s almost wedding season! I have a wedding shower at the end of the month so I am happy to have this wedding gift card holder ready to go.
I love the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. It’s so SHINY! (It will be retiring soon and is available while supplies last.)
The Mini Treat Bag thinlits are about to retire. Trust me when I say…. if you don’t have this set of thinlits GET IT BEFORE IT’S GONE. It’s a wonderful set to have to instantly make treat bags or great projects like this.
All you need to create a mini treat bag is a 6″ x 12″ piece of the Designer Series Paper, which means you can get 2 of these from one full sheet.
It really is a pretty gift card holder! I hope you like it too and will give this project a try.
Not able to create today? Why not create a file in your “Documents” on your computer and call it MAKE IT MONDAY? Or, you can always search the Categories (right side bar) and click on Make It Monday and you will see all of them.
Here’s what you’ll need to create the WEDDING GIFT CARD HOLDER. Use what you have, order what you need. Just click a pic!
*Also available in Wood Mount
Items in RED will retire May 31st or while supplies last
Here’s another version of the gift card holder that you might like too! If you would like to get the tutorial for this project CLICK HERE. It uses the Just Add Text stamp set and the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.
What a GREAT weekend!!!! We celebrated Christina’s college graduation this weekend. We are all SUPER proud of her. College was tough, no doubt. She worked hard and that hard worked paid off. See those cords around her neck? She graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, which means she maintained a 3.8 GPA during her time at OCU. She now has her Bachelors of Arts degree with a minor in Directing. Her hope is to teach high school drama here in Oklahoma.
The weather Saturday was absolutely beautiful and the ceremony was too. We went out for a wonderful brunch after but will celebrate with a ‘proper’ graduation party when the whole family can be together.
What’s in store for her now that college is over? Well, she has her student teaching all set up for August through December. Over the summer she will take her test to become a certified teacher in Oklahoma. I am excited to see what the future holds for her!
(Not the best picture but it was taken off the big screen)
