The girls and I have been having SO much fun with rehearsals for “Noises Off”. It’s the first show we’ve all done together where we all have major roles in the show. We’ve done other shows together (9 to 5: The Musical and Oklahoma) but never having leading roles.
The local paper wrote a sweet story about us and the uniqueness of mother/daughter/daughter performing together (you can read it HERE if you want). It made my heart so happy. Here is the photo they used. The looks on our faces are hilarious because this show is a farce so the antics are CRAZY! Timing is crucial for this show to be funny and you know what? That’s REALLY hard. I’m getting too old for this stuff! lol
I must say, this is the most fun I have had doing a show in a long time and as you can imagine, performing with my girls is a Mom’s dream come true. We don’t open until April 5th but with a show like this, we will need all the rehearsal we can get. Yep, this photo just says it all.
Thanks to each of you who tuned in last night for the live Premiere AND to those of you who tuned in today! I SO appreciate you joining me on this super fun project.
I will be back on Saturday with a new Simple Stamping project for you. Make it a GREAT Thursday and I will see you soon!

Great article about your girls and you. Wish I had someone to ride with me so I could make the trek to see you in this play! (a 3 hour drive for me one way!) Break a leg!
Nice box but enjoyed the picture of you and your daughters more!!
have a great time and so nice you all have that great talent.
Congratulations

Connie …. what a delightful read about you and your daughters. I wish you three the best with what sounds like a really cute play. I know that you will be a success. Bouquets to you three!! Back to business … your “mini” scratch box is cute. I just bought the PDF. Thanks for all your efforts as usual ….. very appreciated!!! Carryn from Pagosa Springs, CO
Connie, I absolutely love this Mini Scratch Paper Box, and I know my sister is going to love it. Her birthday is June 3rd, and this year I am making gifts for her since neither one of us really need anything, but she loves handmade things. She is a phenomenal sewer & horticulturist, and I have nothing that compares to that, but she is always sweet & raves about what I can do. Thank you for always sharing. 🙂
Nanci, I hope your sister truly enjoys her birthday gift this year. Hmm, have you thought about using the Crafting Forever stamp set on page 179? That would be perfect for her scratch paper box!

That’s a bit of a drive for a play but you are sweet for thinking about it.
Great article. Congratulations!
Thank you so much Cindy!
This will make a very nice gift. Want to make these for cancer survivors. Where did you say you can get the tutorial at?
What a beautiful idea Janis! Look in the blue menu bar at the top for Videos & Tutorials. Thanks for checking it out!
