NOW or WOW Flash Card Video - Most Wonderful Time Card - Video No. 87

I am really excited about how today’s NOW or WOW card turned out! Either card you create, they are crisp, clean, and festive!

The NOW version was super duper quick to make. The Holly Berry Builder Punch is a fabulous punch and those bows are something I can use year-round too.

Ooh, but look at all the texture and glitter on the WOW card! The Emerald Envy Glitter Embossing Powder is SO stunning in person. Adding the Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder gave it such warmth!

I am happy to announce the car shopping horrors are now officially over! YAY! Last night Mr. Awesome found a sweet little VW Bug for Ginny…. and not from a dealership but from a private seller. Ginny was still really sick yesterday but needless to say, knowing she is now the proud owner of a bright blue (her favorite color) Bug cheered her up quite a bit.

So… fun fact…my first car was a bright orange ’71 Bug, Christina’s first card was a bright yellow ’02 Bug, and now Ginny has her bright blue ’06 Bug. Bugs just run in the family!

Well, I love both versions Connie but, oh boy!! the one with the glitter is just over the top, festive and fun.
It would look also beautiful with other glitter colors.
As always, your Flash Cards are amazing, thank you so much for sharing this fun video, just in time for making those last minute Christmas cards.

PS. I love seeing the picture of your first card, ours was blue. There is something simply adorable about the older Bugs, the new ones are beautiful but those old ones were endearing.

Connie do you have any tips for using the glitter embossing powder. Mine comes out dull and sparse. I’ve tried diner images, solid images, less time, more time (practically burned it!) I’m so disappointed. It looks so pretty in pictures and before I heat it.

  Can I ask… are you using Stampin’ Up Glitter Embossing Powder? I hear that it’s the best out there and that some of the stuff sold in craft stores has the problems you’re describing. I have not had any issues with mine. It has turned out a beautiful product every time. The only time I wasn’t successful was when I tried to use Classic Ink instead of Versamark. It wouldn’t stick to it very well.

    Yes, SU emerald envy glitter embossing powder with versa mark ink. The only thing different is I don’t have the SU heat tool.
    I’m a demo and I wanted to use it for class but I’m just not happy with the results.

      Hmmm, I am really at a loss as to what to tell you because I haven’t heard of others having issues and I personally haven’t had any issues. I wish I knew how to help but if you’ve tried more time/less time and it still turned out dull, I am not sure what else to try. Sorry. I wish I knew what the issue was.
