It’s time for a DOUBLE FEATURE video ~ I’ve got the sweetest pop-up birthday card & gift box ever!

Don’t you love it when you get not just one project but two?! I was just giddy after I finished these creations because they were so simple yet look so complicated. The Stampin’ Up! Birthday Goodness stamp set was yearning to get inky and this is what I came up with – a pop-up birthday card and a coordinating gift box. The box is perfect as a donut birthday gift box.

I made Mr. Awesome drive me to Hurt’s Donuts last night so I could find a pretty yeast donut with pink frosting and sprinkles. I was so tickled that even at 8:30 at night they had just what I needed (and they had a Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup chocolate donut that looked lonely so I took it home too).

I will start with the card. Such a unique design, isn’t it? And it’s easy as pie (or donuts) to make!

A Birthday Card Design They’ll Love to Display!

• Lovely Lipstick – 4 ¼” x 11″, score at ½”, 1″, 4 ½”, 5″, 5 ½”, 6″, 6 ½”, 10″, and 10 ½” 
• Whisper White – 3 ¼” x 4″
• Silver Metallic Ribbon – Small bow
• Whisper White Medium Envelope

Here are the supplies you need to create the Pop-Up Birthday Card. To start your order, simply click a pic!

The box uses the label that was die cut from the card. Just a little ribbon, a die cut sentiment and a birthday candle and suddenly I have a donut gift box to go with my card!

• Lovely Lipstick – the die cut from the card plus a die cut heart
• Whisper White – Scrap approx 2 ½” x 2 ½” 
• Cardstock (any color) – 4 ¼” x 4 ¼” 
• Aluminum Foil – Approx 6″ x 6″ 
• Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon – 16″

BONUS PROJECT!

I was looking at the individual donut stamp and thought, “Hmm, I wonder if the circle die in the Stitched Labels would work?” Guess what?! THEY DID! I die cut the donuts and added them to a fun tag. So simple!
