What a beautiful card design! Like you said, this will make a lovely Mother’s Day card. Also love the tip about using a label punch to make the legs…have to store that in my memory bank!
Dear Connie,
Love making your cards, this card by far is my most favorite ( so far)….
I have made a black and white anniversary card and 3 birthday cards using this format…
Thank you, again for all the inspiration.
Connie, I made this card over the weekend to give to my mother and mother-in-love for Mother’s Day. The label punch I had planned to use was broken (don’t worry, it was not from Stampinup!). After a brief bout of “what will I do now?”, I remembered I had the Lovely Labels die set. Guess what?! They work as well. I don’t recommend trying to die cut all four layers at once (it’s just too thick for the die). If someone doesn’t mind the “crown molding” (impression) effect left by the die, it’s a great work-around when label punches are on short supply. This was a fun card to make. Thanks for all the terrific ideas!
