I just LOVE Fridays! I really love creating a Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild Weekend Challenge for you each week. This week’s sketch is a simple one to work with too.
- The flower means nothing. It can be any image you’d like!
- The layers can be Designer Paper, cardstock, or a stamped image
- The sentiment can go anywhere you’d like
Sometimes we all need a little boost to get our creative juices flowing. That’s what the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge is all about… a place to start and let your creativity go from there.
So, your challenge is…..over the weekend create something with this layout, share your creations on the Facebook group, and enjoy some great feedback from other Wild Girls. Our group of ‘wild’ stampers is now at 3,000 members! We’re having a great time on this page so join us!

Here’s what I designed for this weekend’s challenge…
I’ve really been wanting to play with my A Nice Cuppa bundle and I am so pleased with how this turned out. The colors were wonderful! I used the Have a Cuppa Designer Paper Stack for the layering piece and silver foil for the spoon.

I am not good at shabby chic but I do love the look! Timeless Textures was such a beautiful stamp set and I LOVE Gorgeous Grunge so I knew I would use this a lot. Oh wow! So much easier than I thought! You literally just stamp. There’s no rhyme or reason to where you stamp with this style. I’m quite pleased with it. That touch of Silver Metallic Thread was just the right finish to it.

We have a VERY exciting weekend coming up! My nephew, Phil, is having a baby! Well, HE’S not, his wife is, and we are SO excited to welcome Baby India Noel into the world this weekend. I just have to share a little about her name. My Dad passed away about 7 years ago and he and Phil were very close. My Dad was born and raised in India. He was a missionary kid and came to the USA when he was 18. My Dad’s name? Noel, thus the name India Noel. Isn’t that sweet? It’s so special.
In between visiting the baby, we also hope to get the office construction finished. I really need it to be done. The table where my computer sits is not going to work for me much longer. A wooden bar stool and a tall desk. It’s horrible! My back is NOT happy with me at all. I hope to move in on Sunday. Fingers crossed!
See you guys back here on Monday for a brand new MAKE IT MONDAY project!

I love your card and would love to see the other girls cards but I do not do Facebook and I am sure there are other who do not do facebook. Sure be nice if you could link them to a web site. Just wondering…………..
Sorry Rita. That is something I am just not able to do (too much time and money to set up). Facebook makes it so easy for people to post their cards in one place, others to see the challenges in one place. It’s working quite well so far and it’s a free resource that most everyone can access.
Both lovely cards Connie, but I LOVE the Timeless Textures in Marina Mist. Gorgeous!
