I have had the most amazing few days with my friends Mimi and April! They are fellow demonstrators on the Creativate team (a team of demonstrators I work with to help train my team). We have talked until we’re all hoarse, we’ve laughed until tears have streamed, and we’ve stayed up until 2am every night. Guys, I’m too old to do that anymore! lol No, I guess I’m not. It’s just too much fun!!!
We did get to do some stamping though and check out the cards we made for the Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild Weekend Challenge! I love this “torn edge” look (kinda hard to make that show up in the photo).
- The colors mean nothing….get creative
- The circle can be anything at all!
- The layers can be Designer Paper, cardstock, or a stamped image
- The sentiment can go anywhere you’d like
Sometimes we all need a little boost to get our creative juices flowing. That’s what the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge is all about… a place to start and let your creativity go from there.
So, your challenge is…..over the weekend create something with this layout, share your creations on the Facebook group, and enjoy some great feedback from other Wild Girls. Our group of ‘wild’ stampers is now at 3,000 members! We’re having a great time on this page so join us!

Here’s what I designed for this weekend’s challenge…
I’ve said it before, masculine cards are hard but I found that sometimes, it’s just the color combos and not the stamp sets that you need to make a great card for the guys!
I created this birthday card with Blackberry Bliss and Night of Navy with a hint of Smoky Slate. I used Crush Curry for the cake and masked it and stamped the sentiment. So easy!
The gold embossing powder really made the sentiment POP!
This card was so easy! Just a torn piece of scrap paper to use as a mask, stampin’ sponges with Soft Sky & Wisteria Wonder ink. Added a die cut butterfly from Butterfly Basics, a touch of bakers twine and BOOM, card done! LOVE!
Well, it’s back to work and fun for me! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! Enjoy it! See ya Monday!!!

Love the way the cards turned out. Especially the butterfly card. Glad you had a great time.
