OOPS! So sorry! Forgot to post this yesterday! My bad. What a week! This remodeling project has really taken over my house (and my head, apparently). I really thought this week’s sketch was kinda funky and fun! I just had to sneak away from the mess and create something.
Not gonna lie… this week’s challenge was a hard one for me. I like straight lines but I thought I would shake things up al little. Even though it was challenging, I LOVE this look!
- The colors mean nothing….get creative
- The layers can be Designer Paper, cardstock, or a stamped image
- The sentiment can go anywhere you’d like
Sometimes we all need a little boost to get our creative juices flowing. That’s what the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge is all about… a place to start and let your creativity go from there.
So, your challenge is…..over the weekend create something with this layout, share your creations on the Facebook group, and enjoy some great feedback from other Wild Girls. Our group of ‘wild’ stampers is now at 3,000 members! We’re having a great time on this page so join us!

Here’s what I designed for this weekend’s challenge…
Finally got some ink on my Enjoy the Little Things stamp set! The polka dots and notches on the side of the card for the Bakers Twine were so cool.
I mentioned that my BFF is visiting right now. Here is Brenda’s take on the challenge. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! Botanical Blooms meets Apple of My Eye!
I hope you’ll play along with the Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild Weekend Challenge. Even though it’s “different” it was nice to step out of my comfort zone a little.
The remodeling of my formal dining room continues. I have never swept so much in my life yet it does no good it seems. SO much sawdust! Yuck! Lots of sneezing too.
Sadly, I had to take my friends to the airport tomorrow. I’m so sad. It was such a FUN week with them here. Mark was SUCH a huge help to Rich in this remodel project. Friends are the BEST! Luckily Brenda is a Stampin’ Up demonstrator on my team and I will see her in April for the OnStage Convention so it’s just “so long for now” and not “good-bye”.
Well, the dust is calling my name. Guess I better get back to my Cinderella chores! Have a wonderful weekend everyone! See ya Monday!
Enjoy your dust. : – ) , it is always so nice to visit u. It sometimes is like I am there with you, with you sharing it all. FUN… Love the cards today and the funky layout. I like it. TFS.Have a good one.
I love Brenda’s card, for some reason it reminds me of the 1950’s and my mom:)
