I love to create fun but simple gifts to give to friends. This sweet To-Go cup is a go-to gift for me every year.
The challenging part is creating the template BUT once you’ve created it, you can use it year after year. I have had this one for 3-4 years now. I just keep it in a file folder called “Templates”. I always know where it is.
I can change the sentiment and this would be perfect for Valentine’s Day or a fun back to school gift for my teacher friends.
I love the Red Glitter Embossing Powder! You’ll be glad to know that it’s sticking around after the Holiday catalog so you will have it around Valentine’s Day.
Let me share today’s video…
Here are my measurements in case you missed them:

I hope that you enjoyed today’s video! It really is a fun project!

And now for the yummy part… here is the recipe for the gourmet hot cocoa mix that I create every year.
CONNIE’S GOURMET HOT COCOA
- (1) 20 to 28 oz can of store brand Hot Cocoa Mix (don’t buy the good stuff)
- (1) small box of Chocolate or Chocolate Fudge Instant Pudding Mix (large box if you are a chocoholic)
Pour the hot cocoa mix into a large bowl. Add the pudding and mix well. The pudding just slightly thickens the hot cocoa and brings out more chocolate flavor. Measure according to the directions on hot cocoa can.
CHOCOLATE-COVERED CHERRY HOT COCOA
- (1) 20 to 28 oz can of store brand Hot Cocoa Mix (don’t buy the good stuff)
- (1) small box of Chocolate or Chocolate Fudge Instant Pudding Mix (large box if you are a chocoholic)
- (1) packet Cherry Kool-Aid
- 1/2 cup sugar
In a large bowl, mix the sugar, Kool-Aid, and pudding; mix well. Add the can of hot cocoa mix and mix again. Measure according to the directions on hot cocoa can. You can use any flavor of Kool-Aid – Orange and Strawberry are good too! If you want more “cherry” flavor, double the sugar and use 2 packages of Kool-Aid.
The best part about this cocoa is that you can make a big batch for under $3.00 and trust me when I tell you… your friends will think this is Godiva Hot cocoa! It’s that rich and that good!
Oh and on another note… I tried this with Swiss Miss No Sugar Added? Fabulous! You can use sugar-free pudding too!
What a day it’s been today. Our little beagle, Buddy, had to go in for some dental surgery. He had an abscess tooth. Poor dog. It just popped up out of nowhere. Luckily the vet just called and said he did great and is excited to come home. So I am going to close quickly so I can pick him up and bring him home. I hate leaving my dogs at the vet. I’m sure he thinks I deserted him.

Just made a batch of your Gourmet Hot Cocoa – Awesome!!! Thank you for sharing 🙂
Yay!!! It is good stuff, isn’t it? That pudding makes all the difference in the world.
Connie I Loved this blog post! Would you please share where you buy the coffee cups I have not been able to find them anywhere. Thx
I’ve seen them at Walmart and Target. They come about 20 in a package. I buy mine in bulk at Sam’s Club but that is because Mr. Awesome uses them every morning.
