Have you ever wanted to take your stamping beyond paper? How about holiday cloth napkins? Check these out!
I used the Festival of Trees Bundle to create them and guys, you won’t believe how fast and easy they are to make. I gotta warn you though…. once you make them, you’ll be addicted!
Let me share today’s video with you…

Here are the supplies that I used but any stamp, any Classic Ink Pad, will do! In minutes you will have these napkins made!
You can use this technique on tee shirts, holiday aprons, tea towels, anything really! Any of these things would make a great hostess gift. It’s so personal and special.
- Avery Iron-On Tee Shirt Transfers are available at office supply stores or discount stores in the same area you would find printing labels.
- Machine wash and tumble dry
- Customize to say anything you want to make it even more personal
- Wrap up a set of four napkins with Designer Series Paper and your gift is presented beautifully
Tips to remember:
- You can use any computer software to print text but remember YOU HAVE TO MIRROR or REVERSE THE IMAGE!
- Iron all the wrinkles out of the fabric and the pillow case that you’re working on.
- Drain all the water from your iron because you don’t want any steam.
- Pre-heat your iron to the highest setting possible.
- Place a board or something hard underneath your pillowcase when you iron it. I melted the varnish off my dining room table many years ago doing this technique so protect your work surface!
- Move the iron constantly so you don’t scorch the fabric.
I hope that you will give these a try. I make them every year and everyone who receives them just loves them. Who doesn’t love personalized Christmas napkins?
Well, my friends, I have some stamping to do. I have a lot of thank you cards to mail out. It seems you guys LOVED our Year-End Clearance Sale and I am looking forward to sending each of you a hand stamped card to show my appreciation. Friendly reminder: If you created your account and checked the box asking not to be contacted, I am not allowed to send you a card. This makes me sad but I respect your wishes. Let me take this time to say to each of you, THANK YOU so much for your support and for your orders! I truly appreciate you!!!
Connie, these are SO pretty! Once again, you’ve outdone yourself!

Awesome awesome awesome ! Thank you for sharing this !
where can i buy new nibs for the markers ?
I don’t know anyone who sells them. I think you just have to replace the marker,
I love this ideal! Thanks for sharing! I too made a mistake with my iron not being empty of water and not protecting my work surface. What a mess! Those days have gone by, Thankfully!
The only transfer papers I have seen say for ink jet printers. Is that what I want to use to try making the napkins?
Those are the ones!
Connie – While I am a few months late, I still enjoy looking, listening, and reading your newsletters. Your techniques and designs are just amazing! Thank You from a fellow demonstrator.
