A couple of weeks ago I shared this card as part of my Aqua Painter August series and so many of you wanted to see how to create it. I am happy to bring you today’s VINTAGE BIRTHDAY video!
Creating vintage cards was always a struggle for me but the Timeless Textures stamp set really makes it easy.
I teamed up the card with Birthday Blossoms which doesn’t really fall in the “vintage” category but just look how it kind of turned vintage when I teamed it up with Timeless Textures.
Are you ready to see how I did it?
Here the measurements in case you missed them:
- Crumb Cake – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
- Crumb Cake – 2″ x 4 ¼”
- Tranquil Tide – 4″ x 5 ¼”
- Very Vanilla – 3 ¾” x 5″

Fall is here!!! I am so happy about that! The temperatures are getting cooler and so we are taking the camper out for another adventure! LOL Wow, Connie, adventure? Really? Let’s be honest, I sit around the camper, open the windows, stamp with my Paper Pumpkin kit, and watch Law & Order: SVU. Yeah, some adventure. I really love camping for the get-away. Sometimes it’s just nice to get out of the house and enjoy some uninterrupted time with Mr. Awesome. He wants to do a couple more repairs around the camper (wait, rephrase that, he doesn’t WANT to but needs to).
Since I mentioned that I like to take my Paper Pumpkin kits camping, I thought I would also share a great deal for NEW SUBSCRIBERS! Why not TRY Paper Pumpkin for 50% off (and the shipping is included!)? You will love having everything cut and ready to create. That’s why I love to take my Paper Pumpkin boxes with me camping. Everything I need is in that bright orange box.

I’m so glad you did a video on this. I could’ve figured it out but I love it when I can watch someone do it! Also like the top on the alcohol. Can I just say how good YOU look these days! Thanks, Connie….for all you do.
Thank you Sharon! It’s a ‘work in progress’ but slowly, the weight is coming off. 🙂
Thank you for the video today. I have to say the card is stunning. Connie you look wonderful! Your Weight Watchers journey seems to be working for you. I’m a huge fan of Stampin’ Up and Weight Watchers too.
Cathy, thank you so much!!!!
Great video . Love this style. Great tips and a fabulous cards. More vintage please!
Connie, thank you for the video on the vintage card. When you first posted this card during your hints with the aqua painters I fell in love with it.
Hi Connie, thank you so much for all the work you do showing us the cards you make. I’m also enjoying the facebook live shows. I have a question regarding the way you store your dies. On one of the facebook sessions you show your big dies in a 3 ring binder. Do you store all your dies that way or just the big ones.
Thanks again.
Diana
I store all my dies this way. It works for me but I know that other people like to store their dies in the stamp case.
Fabulous card! Thanks for showing how how you made it! Love all of the distressing! Have a wonderful camping trip, and right along with you for praying for those in Florida and states north of them who will be hit with this hurricane!
Love your card. And thank you for the tip about the rubbing alcohol.
Great card. As I don’t have Timeless Textures, I’m going to try it with my Touches of Texture stamp set. I so appreciate all your ideas and videos. You are SO HELPFUL!!
