Great card, Connie. I am needing to make one today. Thanks for the inspiration. Love the pocket for the cash. XXX
Sorry. I didn’t realize you were still in the UK. bet you had fun though! Glad your back and so grateful for the download too.
Connie, I was wondering why I couldn’t find the post. I was so glad to see your message today. This is a great graduation card and I love the way you make the graduation cap.
Wow – thank you Connie for this awesome video and instructions for making this cash gift card. I’ve been sitting at my dining room table working on making a couple of these and I realized you can get 2 gift cards (1 big and 1 small) out of one 8 1/2 X 11 piece of card stock. Put your 8 1/2 side at the top of your trimmer and score at 2 and 5 1/4 just like your instructions say then put the 11” paper at the top of your trimmer and cut it at 7” – you have 2 gift card holders and they are both scored.
Envelope for the smaller gift card holder – a piece of 7 1/2 X 6 3/4 card stock and with the 7 1/2 inch side at top of trimmer score at 2 and 5 1/2 then on the 6 3/4 side at top of trimmer score at 1 and at 5 1/2 inches. DSP for the front is 3 3/4 X 3 and for flap inside 3 3/4 X 1 3/4. I put white card stock on inside top and it’s the same measurements as the DSP on front (3 3/4 X 3).
Hope this all makes sense !
Thanks again – appreciate your fantastic videos !
Wonderful idea and thanks for sharing.
This is now my favorite graduation card. Thank you.
Mahalo! Made 3 cards, just changed the colors. Enjoyed doing it, following your clear directions.
