Confession: I am the world’s worst watercolor. I have always been jealous of those of you who can. I just can’t watercolor….or so I thought!
This card was so easy and the watercoloring is SO fast and I knew it was perfect for Make It In Minutes! The colors are so bold and beautiful, I honestly surprised myself at how it turned out.
Let me share today’s video with you….
Here the measurements for my card in case you missed them:
- Berry Burst – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”
- Whisper White – 3 ¾” x 5″
- Whisper White – 2 ½” x 4″

Wahoo! It’s a camping weekend for the Stewarts! I am in need of a break too. It’s supposed to rain all weekend and when I’m camping, that is a good thing. I love listening to the rain on the camper roof. I don’t know why. It’s just relaxing.
I do plan to play a little catch-up while I’m there. I need to get Thank You cards sent out to many of you. With kids being home from school and some other issues that popped up this month (a little health scare for Christina but she’s okay), days aren’t as long as I wish they could be. I will be sending those out soon, Guys, promise!
Oh, and I just have to share this….. I spoiled myself the other day and had my windows cleaned. I don’t know why I never thought about hiring anyone to do it (anyone else hate to clean windows?) I am so embarrassed at how BRIGHT everything is now. Sometimes you don’t realize how dirty your windows are until they get cleaned. It was a sweet young couple who started this little company and they have done quite well. I love hearing stories like that. These two found a need and met the need. They not only cleaned my windows but the tracks too (eww, dead bugs and grime – so glad they did it for me). You know, sometimes you just have to treat yourself to things like this. Do yourself a favor…look up residential window cleaning and have someone come make your home look brighter. It made me so happy! It’s the little things, right?

Thanks for posting an example of water coloring on whisper white. Have not had much luck. so I guess less is more. I’ll try it again.
I love the card! Watching your videos the first thing in the morning always cheer me up! I wish you were my neighbor!!!
Loved your water color card today and enjoy your personal notes! We had our house power washed and took the screens out and they cleaned in the track and the windows came out perfect. Plus our daughter suggested we use her house cleaner and she comes once a month to clean our house. At 75 years old I never thought I would have someone clean but we are so happy with her! Now I have lots more time for stamping which is my passion!
I just recently purchased the Whisper White card stock, but will utilizing my watercolor paper for this card. Beautiful!!
I’m so glad you liked it Devoria!
Love your card. I had to smile at you saying you are the world’s worst watercolorer because this card turned out so pretty and went with your top beautifully! I have this stamp and I am going to try this!
Always love the cards you make & this one is no exception! PS: I love the sound of rain on the RV roof, too! Sooooo soothing…much better to be inside hearing the rain (& making cards!) than outside feeling the rain!! Happy camping, happy stamping!

Thank you so much Holly!
Thanks for sharing your secret about not watercoloring well. I either use too much water or not enough. But you have inspired me to try – and try again!!! I love all of your tutorials and have picked up a lot of tips from you. You are my absolutely favorite go-to-gal for tips and tricks!! Love you bunches. \
Connie this is a beautiful card! My watercoloring skills are the pits, but you’ve inspired me to try again. Love your videos.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it Wanda!
Connie, you made a comment about being able to use embossing powder with ALL the colors. Has that just been true since the foam ink pads came out?
Thanks for sharing this beautiful card!
Yes, Linda. I have a video I shared a couple years ago about it. Here you go. https://youtu.be/XWsQrXxCtXQ
