If you’ve ever stared at a handmade card tutorial and thought, “Bless your heart, but that looks complicated,” then this easy diagonal fold card tutorial is your answer. One fold, one cut, and suddenly you’re making paper crafts that look like you’ve been at this for years. Whether you’re making a birthday card, a thinking-of-you note, or just feeding your designer paper addiction, this technique delivers every single time.
This month’s Creative Juice Sketch is all about that diagonal fold. We’re making not one, but two cards from the same layout. Why make one gorgeous handmade card when you can make two?
For these projects, we’re using the Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper for that cheerful fruit-filled “Love You Berry Much” card, and the dreamy Delicate Dreams Designer Series Paper for the birthday design. I’m also using three stamp sets— the Filled with Sweetness, Delicate Whispers, and Loveliest Tree stamp sets. Both cards come together faster than you’d expect and you’re going to want every single one of these in your stash.
