Making a Double Flap Card is a great way to show off your beautiful designer paper and make a non-traditional design that features two panels that unfold to reveal your message.
To showcase the versatility of this card design, I created two cards with distinct styles. The first, a cheerful “Hello” card, features the vibrant fruits from the Mediterranean Blooms 12″ x 12″ designer series paper. The second is a fun-loving birthday card featuring the 2024–2026 In Color 6″ x 6″ designer paper.
Get ready to impress with this surprisingly simple double flap design. Let’s get started!

I really like how you use up all the paper to make this card
Thank you so much for all that you share with us.
I really like this card. Going to my craft table right now 🙂 Thank you for such easy instructions.
Please doublecheck instructions-it does not seem as if the scored paper is the wider measurement.
I just double checked them and they are correct. If you put the longest side of your cardstock at the top of your Simply Scored Board or the Paper Trimmer, you will be scoring down the short side of the cardstock.
