We all make mistakes when we are stamping and paper crafting but I love sharing my best hack for stamping mistakes if it will help you salvage your project. I promise, you can get clever and still be cute!

Best Hacks for Stamping Mistakes: The Details and Close-Ups

Did you catch the edge of a stamp? Try adding a ribbon knot or bow OR create a brand new sentiment and add to your card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Have you smudged a sentiment so bad there was no saving it? Try a simple tearing edge OR use your dies or punches to make a window and create a shadow effect with a new die cut or punched sentiment.

You can always die cut or fussy cut new images to cover up badly stamped images or crooked sentiments OR just add a totally new layer to the card. Cut a matching piece of cardstock ¼” to ½” smaller than the original, re-stamp, and save your card!

Don’t overlook what adding embellishments can do! Simply cover up an error with rhinestones, pearls, sequins, enamel dots, etc.
